HOW DO I HIRE ITEMS?
Simply browse our hire collection on the Weddingswise website and select the items and quantities you would like to hire. Add your selections to your cart and proceed through checkout. Once we receive your request, our team will check availability for your required dates and contact you to confirm your booking details. Please note that submitting a hire request does not always automatically guarantee availability.
HOW IS MY HIRE BOOKING CONFIRMED?
Once your selected items and dates have been confirmed, Weddingswise will provide you with:
*An Invoice for your hire items. *A Hire Terms and Conditions form to read, sign and date. *A Credit Card Security Bond Form to complete, sign and return.
Full payment and both completed forms are required to secure and finalise your hire booking.
WHAT IS THE HIRE PERIOD?
Your collection and return dates will be confirmed at the time of booking. We understand that weddings and special occasions require preparation, so we will work with you to arrange suitable dates wherever possible. All hire items must be returned on the agreed date.
WHERE DO I COLLECT MY HIRE ITEMS?
Hire items are available for collection from our Weddingswise showroom (Excludes Plinths as they are DELIVERY ONLY), Unit 1/30 Edgar Street, Coffs Harbour NSW. Your collection date and arrangements will be confirmed when your booking is finalised. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have suitable transport to safely collect and return their items.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY AND COLLECTION?
Certain hire items, including our Plinths, are available by delivery and collection only. For Plinths hire, Weddingswise provides delivery and collection within the Coffs Harbour area for a flat fee of $100.00. Delivery and collection dates and times will be arranged and confirmed at the time of booking. Please note that this service covers delivery and collection only. It does not include setting up or packing down items at the venue. Our hire items are not available for delivery outside the Coffs Harbour area.
WHEN DO I RETURN MY HIRE ITEMS?
All customer-collection hire items must be returned to Weddingswise Unit 1/30 Edgar Street, Coffs Harbour NSW. Items must be returned on the agreed date and in the same condition in which they were supplied. A late return fee of $50.00 per day will apply to items not returned by the agreed date. If you anticipate any difficulty returning your items on time, please contact Weddingswise as soon as possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY HIRE ITEMS ARE DAMAGED, LOST, OR NOT RETURNED?
We take great care to ensure all our hire items are presented in excellent condition. Customers are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all hire items from the time they take possession until they are returned or collected by Weddingswise. This includes damaged, lost or not returned, the customer will be responsible for associated costs-. Damaged items will incur repair costs. Lost, unreturned or damaged beyond repair items will be charged at their full current retail replacement value. Any applicable charges will be processed using the credit card supplied on the Credit Card Security Bond Form. Customers must not attempt repairs or alterations without prior written approval from Weddingswise.
WHY DO I NEED TO COMPLETE A CREDIT CARD SECURITY BOND FORM?
It is standard practice within the hire industry to require security against damage, lost or unreturned goods. At Weddingswise, all customers must complete and return a Credit Card Security Bond Form before their hire booking can be finalised. All hire items are inspected before leaving Weddingswise and again upon their return. When items are returned or collected on time and in the original condition, no damage or replacement charges will apply, and the Credit Card details will be destroyed.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HIRE ITEMS DURING MY EVENT?
The customer is responsible for ensuring all hire items are handled, displayed and stored safely throughout the hire period. Particular care should be taken with items displayed outdoors (some mirror items are for indoor hire only), especially during windy or wet weather. Customers should ensure all items are positioned securely and protected from conditions that may cause damage. Weddingswise does not accept responsibility for injury, damage or loss arising from customers’ handling, placement or use of hired items, to the extent permitted by law.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?
We understand that unexpected situations can arise during weddings and special occasions. If a hire is damaged, lost, or there is an issue with the return, please contact Weddingswise as soon as possible.
AGREEMENT TO HIRE CONDITIONS?
By proceeding with a Weddingswise hire booking, the customer acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. A signed Hire Terms & Conditions form and completed Credit Card Security Bond must be returned before the booking is finalised.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS?
At Weddingswise, all hire items are reserved exclusively for your event once booking has been confirmed. This means the items are no longer available for other customers to hire during your reserved period. For this reason, we do not offer cancellations or refunds for change of mind, changes to event plans, postponements or cancellations, as we may have turned away other hire opportunities to secure these items for your special occasion. We appreciate your understanding and encourage customers to ensure all event details are confirmed before proceeding with their hire booking.
